NMGoose - 3/14/2012 10:05 PM Rating Added: 2 Most this surface area outside the bay proper is drift diving due to currents unless you are very close to an island. The water tends to be murky a lot and the visibility is generally only about 20 to 40 feet once you reach the bottom. Many times you cannot see the bottom until you get there. Upper layer visibility is about 5 to 15 feet. Also, the colors are dull gray to dark brown. The marine life also lacks color.
