The best place we have found in Nebraska for scuba diving. Visibility in the first lake/pit was much better several years ago. Hoping to make a trip there this summer.

This is one of if not the best place to dive in central Nebraska. There are multiple sand pits that are easily accessed via sandy shorelines. There are a number of sunken objects including a plane, boats, tractor tires, etc. You can expect to see bluegill, perch, sunfish, bass, catfish, walleye, and turtles. The local dive shops use this lake for certification dives. There are some rustic camping sites and facilities as this is a state park.
