Lots of life fast current good dive72ft (Buttface)

The diving at Punta Tunich can be enjoyed on the reef tops as much as the wall itself. Most of the large Grouper were hanging out on top of the coral in the flater areas and not on the wall.

The current was significant which led to most fish hanging out behind coral heads which you can easily drop down behind to reduce the effects of the current on yourself as you take pictures.

I went scuba diving here on 4/29/2014. Average viz: 91-100ft/28-30m. Water temp: 76-80°F/24-27°C.
I did not wear any weat suit. I used 12 pounds of weight in my BCD. I took a bunch of pictures with the Gopro. This was a wall dive, and a drift dive. It was a pretty good dive. We saw some Dolphins along side the boat. There was some wind from the west, and the water was kind of rough. I saw a really big Lobster in a cave on the reef. Lots of reef fish.
