Wilderness Lodge is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Peava, Gatokae Island, Solomon Islands. The maximum depth is 111-120ft/34-37m. The average visibility is 91-100ft/28-30m. This dive site provides bathrooms and airfills.
Very small resort close to a tiny village that has been primarily a fishing resort for hardcore Aussie’s. I was the only American, the only diver, and the only woman - at the far end of the world! Everyone super nice, good food, fantastic diving. A unique experience. If the weather permits (wind), the guide can take you out to the farthest, southest island to dive where you FEEL an underwater volcano. Incredible!
