Halloween Reef is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in San Salvador, Bahamas. The maximum depth is 71-80ft/22-24m. The average visibility is 91-100ft/28-30m.
This was the forth mooring and dive site on the Southern Bahamas itinerary for the Nekton Pilot (a live aboard dive boat), for a trip taken in late March 1998. Highly recommended. Halloween Reef is a series of reefs lined up with a sandy bottom in between them. The reefs end at a wall, which drops off sharply into water too deep for recreational diving.
