Located NW of the Beavers Bend Marina at the end of the peninsula. Good parking area and walk to entry is easy. There you can dive along the shore and over to the island. Be sure to use a dive flag and watch the boaters.

TxFreediver - 8/21/2017 11:40 PM I have seen a Water Moccasin in the Rocks at this site at the point (looking straight ahead you see the infamous Island that everyone talks about....Just not quite enough activity to keep them scared away....but water depth is definitely not an issue. Another concern is the Boat traffic as the Marina is just right of the Dam, for which the dam you can also see from this point.
