I could do this dive early morning, morning, noon and afternoon day in and day out. Always something new to see with so much life.

Why not night? Them big cockroaches of the sea shine bright red at night. Also the octopus changing colors is more brilliant.

@agojo (hehe) - go to bed same time as those island chickens, wonder if diving early morning before sunrise could become a thing?

I went scuba diving here on 6/24/2015. Average viz: 91-100ft/28-30m. Water temp: 76-80°F/24-27°C.
Good clarity, better temp. Pier was in good shape with a good amount of fish and other sea life all along the pier. Shore entry was an option as well as a 4’ drop in from the entry of the pier. The gate for access to the pier closes at 1800 so arrive early.
Many of the dive shops offer a guided dive of the pier that can introduce the entry and exit points as well as show some of the more interesting points of the pier.

Gate closes at 1800 but it isn’t locked. Suggest verifying prior to 1800 as it could always change.
