Depth: The bow is around 140 feet, and the stern is approximately 90 feet.
Conditions: Typically, divers experience clear, warm Gulf Stream waters with good visibility, though deeper depths require advanced diving skills and adherence to safety rules like the 120 Rule or Rule of Thirds for air management.
What to expect: Divers can explore the various sections of the wreck, including boilers, the engine, and the steering quadrant, and often encounter a variety of marine life, including large schools of fish and sea cucumbers.
Access: Reaching the Naeco involves a significant boat ride, often taking about two and a half hours from Beaufort Inlet. It is typically offered on extended day charters.
