This is Sunset House’s house reef and is available to non guest unless there is a sign on the path from the parking lot.
It’s a simple giant stride in, there is a ladder to get out. Under the surf the reef has been stripped by the surge but look closely, this is where you will find the puffers hunting, there are flounder hiding in plain sight and in the spring, squid. Look under the old pile of anchor chain for the octipus.
As you go out and deeper there are more finds, more coral, an old landing craft that is visited by the Atlantis Sub so if you hear a whine look around and make faces at the tourist. To the right of the landing craft is a mermaid, really!
