Guadalupe Island - Mexico

Loading...
Guadalupe Island is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Mexico. This dive site has an average rating of 4.40 out of 5 from 5 scuba divers. The average visibility is 51-60ft/16-18m.

It looks like great white shark diving at Guadalupe Island, Mexico, is done. All tourism, including liveaboard diving, has been banned, and film and television crews will be prohibited. Unfortunately, the new management plan has no provisions for protecting the 400-plus great white sharks known to frequent the area. More about this in the February 2023 issue of Undercurrent.

Great place for Great White Cage Diving, all diving is done from liveaboards and during shark season.

Great white shark encounters at Guadalupe Island are nothing short of spectacular. It’s simply the best destination in the world for calm clear water and consistently high probability of multiple shark encounters per day.
