There’s a parking lot near the damn with access to the "beach"

Follow the trail through the trees and dive off the shore. To the left is a granite bottom. One can stay around 30 feet. Going straight off the shore, there is a gradual slope to approx 80 feet. There is guard rail from the old road here. From the shore, there is a series of no boating markers. Take the bouy to the left, it drops to 80 feet and the guard rail.

Dropping over the guard rail drops to 130’and there is nothing to see.

I have been considering giving Laurel Lake a try. Anyone on here still dive it on a regular basis?

I would like to dive there. Do you own a drysuit?
Bluewaterextreme - 10/13/2015 6:52 PM

Iv only seen a few fish and found some anchors, keys etc. but really wanting to find a sunken boat or car to explore. I have been told there is a few cars and boats but nobody has a general location or map. Any help from the diving community would be appreciated greatly.

I used to live the Laurel Lake when I was in High School. It has been some time ago and way before I ever thought about diving. However, I now live in Alaska and have often thought what the diving in the lake would be like. I have caught a couple nice catfish out of there. Are there any cool stuff in the lake to see?
