Had moved this site to Shaws from Woods from the day before as the surf and undertoe was killing us there. At shaws was surprised to see some 5 ft + waves crashing and in some short intervals so we had to time it carefully. We waiting for 3 or so big ones then for 1 - 2 smaller and then booked it. The surf had sturred up a lot of sand so visibility was like 6 ft at times and some decent surge we avoided the crevice and turned around before getting too far behind the reef. We did see lots of life.. horn shark, 2 bat rays (one large that almost ran into me), large halibut, eel, lobster. Well worth the more challenging conditions. Get out and dive with us.
