CHUM (City of Houston Underwater Mariners) is a very active dive club based in the Houston area. We concentrate on local and domestic US trips (mostly) and the philosophy is to get divers into the water. And get beer into the divers as well.

We were FIRST on the CLIPPER. Woo hoo!!! Texas` newest and best dive site, the Texas Clipper, was born off South Padre Island on Saturday Nov 18th, 2007. After being cleared by contractor and TPWD officials, we deployed as the first public divers at 3pm on Monday Nov 20th. See pics at www.thetexasclipper.com or the Gallery at www.chumclub.org
