Paradise Springs

Well here is installment number 3 in my dive blog. Yesterday I went up to Ocala with my dive buddy to do Paradise Springs. This is a sink hole that drops down to 99 feet depth for open water divers. It goes down further than that but you have to be cave certified and I am not. The water is amazingly clear. From 91 feet ( my deepest point on this dive) I could see the light from above. The cavern is not a straight up and down. It drops at an angle so after about 15 feet you are in an overhead env...
Finished Rescue

Well I went last night and did the CPR/02 Provider portion of the rescue class I have been taking. It was informative and I again learned quite a bit of info I didn`t know. I have to say again that I strongly recommend this class for every diver. It really takes your diving knowledge to the next level. So now that it`s all over I am a NAUI Certified Advanced Rescue Diver!!!!! Ya Me....
Saturday Class

All right I have never done one of these so I will start with the events of last Saturday. I went to Weeki Wachee Springs to do my rescue class and then did a little clean up for their stage. Had a great time as usual when I get in the water. The rescue class was outstanding. I learned a lot and feel like a better diver for having done it. I strongly recommend it for every diver. After the class we did clean up. Which was quite fun as well. We took out the underwater scooters and got to ride tho...
