holy crap
i just realized that it’s been about 2 years since i blogged here. well, last weekend, this dive season started again for me. thanks to all the rain, the lake is about 6’ higher than normal. vis stinks. the water was an invigorating 50-54 degrees. none the less I WAS BACK IN THE WATER! and that’s all that counts......

2009 - UPDATED
Well, looking over the other blogs, it’s been a while since I’ve had anything to say. The 2009 dive season will start for me this weekend. I CAN’T WAIT! Hope my suit still fits... Yes, my wetsuit still fit. It felt so damn good to get back in the water. About 15’ of vis and a refreshing 60 degrees at 20’. That’s about all I did with my student (he was a youngster without the insulation properties that I have). Anyway, reality has set in again. Now it will be a couple weeks until I can repeat :(...

I got it.
Well, I finally did it. June 29th, I got dive 500 logged. I was aiming for it last year, but the shot missed the target. Ok, it was a short celebration of personal achievement. Back to the business at hand... MORE DIVING!...

FINALLY!
Well the first weekend of June has come and gone. I was finally able to go and get in the water! It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, turned out to hit about 94 in the shade (highly unusual for this area) and I was sweating like an athelete. Anyway, my wetsuit still fit. That was a good thing because while attempting to cool down from the first heat wave of this summer, the water was a refreshing 57 degrees on the bottom. Spring is here!
Well, it`s officially Spring! My equipment is in the shop getting annuals done and pretty soon it will be time to get wet. I never did make any ice dives, I guess I`m just not as hardcore as I used to be. Maybe it`s poor time management skills? Anyway, here I sit at work again (wish I could find a better way to support my habit. Like winning the lottery) and felt like typing a little something. That was it......

Nothing special
Well, here we are. January 25th of 08. I just got done downsizing my checkbook. How depressing. At work, thinking about recent coversations of people conducting personal business. Oh well! It`s been chilly here in the Northeast. Not as bad as other places but not Belize either. Thinking about those ice dives I mentioned. Haven`t happened yet. Thinking about this spring! It`s only a few months away. Got to get my shit together, inspected, serviced and otherwise ready. Ok, that`s all for now. Ba B...

2007 Dive Season
Well, another season at Crusty`s has come and gone. Maybe I can get an ice dive or 2 in. I wanted to hit the 500 mark this year. That didn`t happen. Work (I mean the reason that most of us are able to support our habit) got in the way. There`s always next year! Perhaps by then, I can become independently wealthy and not have to worry about work anymore. hahahahahahahahahahahahahah...
