So, this weekend I decided to experiment with Scuba Tank to Foot Compression ratios. The following are my findings:

Experiment:

Drop one 80 cubic foot aluminum compressed air scuba tank out the back of the trunk of a selected vehicle from a height of approximately 1m. Observe physical/psychological reactions when said tank compresses the metatarsals of one human foot.

Hypothesis:

Foot compression ratios will vary in direct accordance with the amount of force/speed and/or height from which the scuba tank is dropped.

Possible Applications:

Potential for cosmetic/medical application for persons with large feet. By using controlled scuba tank to foot compression treatments, one might be able to reduce foot size for persons with abnormally large feet.

Experiment Procedures:

One 80 cubic foot aluminum compressed air scuba tank was place horizontally across the trunk of the selected vehicle. Tank was held in place by numerous other scuba gear until experiment assistant (hereby to be referred to as "scuba buddy)removed said gear and vacated the premises.

Upon arrival at the determined site of actual experiment proceedings, trunk door was opened inducing roll and acceleration of the scuba tank which concluded with the tank being ejected from the trunk of the vehicle and directly onto the metatarsal region of observing official`s (hereby to be referred to as "Me") foot.

Observations:

The right metatarsals of "Me`s" foot, were indeed compressed in direct accordance with the force/speed and height of the dropped 80 cubic foot aluminum compressed air scuba tank. Strangely enough, compression was extremely short-lived only lasting a mere fraction of a second. The impact also evoked a seemingly endless and extraordinarily varied string of verbal explicatives from "Me". Extended observations revealed an amazing discovery... The foot actually defied extended compression and indeed DOUBLED IN SIZE!!!

Revised Possible Applications:

Potential for cosmetic/medical application for persons with SMALL feet. By using controlled scuba tank to foot compression treatments and their amazing after effects, one might be able to INCREASE foot size for persons with abnormally SMALL feet!
