Scuba Diving in the USVI... It’s Fantastic

If you are looking for the best in Carribean diving, than look no further than diving in the United States... the United States Virgin Islands that is.

The diving in St. Croix (yes... that’s me in the photo diving in St. Croix’s west side waters at about 90 feet of depth) is some of the best diving in the world and if you need a dive operator to dive with you may want to use S.C.U.B.A., found at http://www.stcroixscuba.com/ online. The site is a compendium of great information not only of the services they offer, but also the island the business calls home.

Ed and Molly Buckley (husband and wife owners) and their S.C.U.B.A. team of divers, captains and store staff will allow you to simply have a great dive experience. S.C.U.B.A. will even help you find accommodations and even the lowest airfare to get you to St. Croix, the largest of the USVI’s.

I just returned from a trip (May 2008) to the USVI and came back overwhelmed by the bluest warm waters imaginable, terrific weather and miles and miles of picture-perfect shoreline. If you want terrific diving... dive St. Croix and contact S.C.U.B.A. to make your trip truly enjoyable. The later part of that statement is your best bet for a terrific Carribean adventure.

Also, if going to St. Croix, check out staying and diving in Fredricksted on the west side of the island. Being on the west side, you avoid the eastern trade winds that can and will impact the island sometime during any stay. Each day I awoke to calm seas and beautiful blue, clear skies as a temporary resident of the west side of the island. The diving on the west side is also very special (unique wrecks and reefs) and full of aquatic life (sharks, rays and turtles... just to name a few of the creatures that you can meet close-up).

Check out St. Croix and the USVIs... you will not be disappointed!
