NY/NJ guy lookin to get out a lot more but can`t find anyone to do it with. HAve AOW and am not afraid to do limited vis/night stuff. Looking to explore all around the Jersey Shore and eastern long island areas. I would like to do some addtional dives over 100 feet as I work toward being able to take tech training.

I like to do day trips around the area and am not afraid to drive. Duthc Springs is always a good laid back Sunday dive and the sites on the Jersey Shore aren’t out of reach either.

Looks like me and you have a lot in commom. I just started getting I to deep diving. I love the challenge that we have on the northeast compared to the rest. Low vis, frigid waters, etc. which makes diving anywhere else a walk in the park. Anyway I’m a AOW ready to start tec. I actually just put a nice rig together. I have a oms 60lb wing with a stainless backplate and double faber lp 95’s which are bricks!!! Lol. Anyway I want to find a shallow enough place with decent vis to get used to this monster. My single setup is a 45lb oms with a stainless backplate. I do a lot of diving off my boat on the Long Island sound westchester side. And I want to start diving off jersey a lot more. I’ve dove the john jack a few times. Really nice boat and crew. Anyway I’m here because my dive buddy decided to make a poor decision and get out of the sport. So I’m looking for a solid partner to advance all the way up to the top of the tec world.
