Since a 2001 dive certification I’ve managed to break away a couple of times each year for what I like to call "a diving adventure". Living in southern California provided opportunities to dive, Point Loma Kelp Forest, La Jolla Shores, the Coronados, the Yukon, dives sites off Laguna, and other popular local spots. Heading East to the Florida Keys I found myself postponing my 9/11/01 trip by one week, but still made it to Key West and John Pennekamp. Cozumel follows in 2002, so inspiring I have started a novel. Moving onto Hawaii, Maui and Molokini Crater in March 2003, diving with Humpback Whales. Several trips to the Carribean including diving in St. Croix, Curacao, Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac where I earned my Advance Diver certification in 2008. Went diving in Turks and Cacios 2009. Enjoyed an amazing dive experience in the the Somo Somo Strait, Taveuni, Fiji in 2010. Just returned from celebrating 25th wedding anniversary in Bora Bora - diving of course. Grand Cayman was the destination of choice for 2012. Where to in 2013? Roatan, Honduras. An amazing two week dive trip and liveaboard on the Ocean Hunter III in Palau in 2014 and so far a relaxing stay in Maui in early 2015.
