My wife and I started diving in 2001 (shows you - never too old to start!) and we love it. We have dived Aliwal Shoal, Protea Banks, Rocky Bay and Sodwana (in South Africa); Ponta do Ouro, Guinjata Bay, Tofo and Morrungulo (in Mozambique); Phuket and Koh Tao (in Thailand); Sipadan, Mabul, Kapalai, Sibuan, Mantabuan and Bohayan (in Sabah, Malaysia, Borneo); Zanzibar (in Tanzania); Dahab, Tiran Island, Sharm el-Sheikh, Ras Mohamed and the Thistlegorm wreck (in the Red Sea, Egypt); Coin de Mire, Péreybère, Mont Choisy, Trou aux Biches and Flic en Flac (in Mauritius); Poor Knights Islands (in New Zealand); Great Barrier Reef (in Australia); Vuna Lagoon and Rainbow Reef (in Fiji). If anybody wants to know more about the above sites I can share the information we have with them. We would still like to dive the Similan Islands and Maldives. However that might only remain a dream! I would like to hear from members of the forum about the places that they have dived which they can recommend. When on vacation I believe in doing as much diving as possible, hence information on affordable accommodation and traveling would be appreciated! My hobbies are underwater videography and photography. My wife loves underwater photography.
