I live in Lagrange, GA. Started skin diving when I was 9 years old in California with a spearfishermen but did not get scuba certified until I was 18 and am 68 year old now. I am cavern certified with no interest in cave diving. More interested in fresh water diving. I own my tanks and floating hookah systems. Have two underwater metal detectors that I will share with a dive buddy. Would like to find and dive more springs. Very interested in Lake Martin, AL where I never been diving. So far have been to Cypress Springs, Morrison Springs, Vortex Springs (do not like), Springs at Merritts Mill Pond, and Ginnie Springs. Have been doing a lot of diving the Chattahoochee River at West Point, GA the last 10 years. I do own a small camping lot in Vernon, FL near Cypress Springs. My brother was my dive buddy but he had a stroke a few years back so have been solo diving in the river since then. Now retired with limited income but plenty of time for diving. Story of my life, low income but plenty of time or plenty of income but no time.
