Hi! What is the rules in Western Australia for hunting under water, while scuba diving? Am I aloud to spearfish, am I aloud to pcik up crabs and so on by hand.... Tell me! Mekis

Heya, You need a lisence in some areas and depends on the type of fish. A lot of places have no-spear-fishing rules because of fish sancutaries. You definatley need a liscence to hunt cray. You can buy the lisence them from the local post office. You can only catch cray over specific size and the rangers do check. They hand around at ramps and the general places divers are to check limits and the like. Hope that helps! Cheers Felicity
