Looking for input and recommendations on Small compressors for filling scuba tanks. I have a Komptec Mini that is about 20 years old. Can no longer get parts. Looking for contacts and general information on compressors. Thanks in advance Scuba Buddies! Brian

I am very happy with my Walter Kidde 4.2 CFM compressor but, like yours, they are getting harder to find. I would try Jim Sheldon in Kansas. He has Sheldon Sporting Goods, and has sold/serviced compressors for decades. He is now semi retired, but does still have a compressor now and then. It is my understanding he specializes in WK compressors, but it might be worth reaching out and asking. He is a super guy, and very friendly. His number is 316-992-0505.

I got a 3.5 CFM Bauer that runs off a 5HP Honda gas engine. It works well and parts should be available for a long time since these are still in production and have remained basically unchanged over about 20 years. They also make these with a 6 HP electric motor, which makes placement of the air intake a lot simpler, but I do like that I can take the gas powered version anywhere and not be worried about the availability of 220V AC power.
