Looking at buying my first BCD. Any ideas? I was told to look at the Sherwood Axis, Leagler Ranger, and Aqualung Axiom i3. Anyone one use these and have problems? Or any that you would add to the list that I should consider?

2nd the BP&W. Would never buy a bc or even recommend one. Bpw can be tailored to any kind of diving. I have 4 different bp . 3 OMS duel bladder wings and 1 scubapro duel bladder.

I have a large Sherwood Axis for sale if you are interested. Asking only $290 which is about half of the cost of new.

If interested, I left a rather detailed reply on the "backplate setup" question posted in equipment. This details out many of the reasons for choosing equipment and questions one may ask about regarding a back-plate kit. This may help focus your search and answer some of your questions. The biggest take away is to do your research and match your equipment with your diving need. Best of luck
