I just found this Sharkbanz product. I’m not particularly interested. (I want to see them, not repel them)
I’m curious if anyone has had experience with these things. I find it hard to believe the magnetic field is large enough to be effective. The web site says "Sharkbanz are meant to deter curious sharks from biting a person while in investigative mode".

Probably as good as the magnetic water softeners, or the magnets you put on the fuel line that are supposed to make your car get better MPG or the magnetic wrist bands that cure arthritis :(

I know there’s a lot of mag products out there and a lot for shark deterrent. If they do work it would be good for Abalone divers and photographers that have the focus on their subject and not their surroundings.

I think you have to wear a two pair for "chomp ur ass" mode ;)
Or maybe they make a full body suit... white sharks call them "hotdog buns".

Lol. Best way to avoid sharks is cave diving......in fresh water....thats landlocked!
