United Divers of New Hampshire located in Manchester, NH 03101

United Divers of New Hampshire dive club has been around since 1975. We meet every third Monday of the month at the YMCA, 30 Mechanic Street, Manchester, NH 03101, at 7:00 PM. Ask at the Y’s info desk what room we are meeting in as the YMCA is a large building. The first hour is club business with a scheduled guest speaker/slide show/ or video. From 8:30 PM through 9:30 PM we have use of the pool and all scuba equipment is welcome. We have pool activities such as underwater hockey, water skills, testing new equipment, guest speakers & their equipment. We do our "decompression" at Cactus Jacks, 782 South Willow Street, Manchester, NH 03103, 603-627-8600 after the business/guest speaker hour. The dive club does local diving as well as dive travel. We do ice diving. The Club is working on legislation to make lobster harvesting by scuba legal in NH. There’s something for everyone. We are independent and unaffiliated with a single dive shop. We do have dive shop membership for dive shops who want to become a member. The dive shop membership fee is $75.00/year. We actively promote safety and dive training. The current dive club president is Michel Hamel; the vice president is Willis R Corson. Come visit us; we look forward to meeting you
