Worked for USAF at Lakehurst NAS, married with grown son and daughter, both certified and living in Florida. My plan is to retire from the DoD (12/31/2015), sell the house, move aboard and set sail for the Caribbean for starters, and then who knows? ( Wife doesn’t like plan A) Her Plan B is a winter home in Jupiter Florida. Plan C is to explore in the RV until we find that home in SE Florida. Position of Dive Buddy/First Mate has been taken by a good woman!

Hi Mike
It was no hassle at all actually. Just make sure you have his/her rabies certificate in place and if you go to the Mexican consulate website you can see exactly what you need. Please be sure to choose OPTION B because many vets do not understand the process clearly for driving into the country. You do not need the costly forms and extensive paperwork they try to charge you hundreds of $$ for. You can also call the consulate in D.C , they are very helpful. You can actually print the OPTION B form out and take it to the vet with you . Make sure it is on the vets’ letterhead. Hope this helps and happy travels with your pooch!

Thanks for the message...I have a 70’ live aboard which we operated for six years and enjoyed it a lot.With my credentials i wasn’t doing as much teach as i wanted to. So we decided to buy a small resort where i would be able to do what i really love Doing.... Dr. E
