NO limit on buddies, just messages per day

if no BUDDY limit, why is one of the advantages of paid membership an INCREASE in the buddy limit to 200 ?

There is a buddy limt, message limit (daily and monthly) and photo limit. All limits are in place to help control web server usage (ie: bandwidth, storage, processing, memory, etc.). Hosting a site like this is expensive...so I provide higher limits to members that pay to upgrade. But upgrading is not required...unless you need lots of buddies, or send lots of messages, or upload lots of photos.
Thank you! Greg.

So what are the limits for non-paying members?

Scuba flag added next to your screen name on your profile. Buddy limit increased to 200. Daily message limit increased to 200. Monthly message limit increased to 800. Daily comment limit increased to 400. Photo limit increased to 200.

Oh yeah, I dont think its possible to get to those limits unless youre a spammer.
Im an annual member, but only because I wanted the cool dive flag next to my name. (wink wink)

The limits are high enough for basic users. I don’t like to openly disclose all the limits (because then spammers will always go UP TO that amount)...but if you reach a limit and you wish to have more...please consider upgrading and supporting this wonderful site! Thanks.
BTW, if you see spam or bad content, please use the report link at the bottom of most pages to report it. Especially someone that’s sending spam messages...report their profile right away!
