Hi! Any aspiring teachers or very patient divers out there? I just got certified (yay) and I want to practice at Dutch Springs. If there is anyone that is experienced that would just love to dive with a newbie :-) I will pay your way into Dutch Springs. I am open to weekends - just let me know your availability and lets do this!!

Hi! I’m a divemaster, an aspiring teacher, and patient. I’ve dove with plenty of new divers, and I’d be happy to dive with you and give you some pointers. Plus, I’ll do it for free since I have a season pass. I’m out of town for the next two weekends, but I will be there Labor Day weekend. I’m also free some weekdays. Let me know what you think.

I’m at Dutch most Thursday nights (We are able to dive past 6:00 pm, thanks to LVDC providing an instructor to watch the lake each week), as well as many Saturdays and Sundays. I will be there tonight, but not this weekend. Next 2 weeks I should be there Thursday and the weekends.
I’ve taken up the practice this year of diving with pretty much anyone, regardless of experience level, and have done so with several newbies already this season. I make an excellent guide and can lead new buddies to whichever underwater attractions they want to see, based on their experience and comfort level.
And, as with Joe, I have a season pass, so no need to cover me for entry fees.

Hello Venture11 I am DJ master scuba diver highest on recreational. Not a dive master, but got 124 dives. Most at Dutch others at sea. I am familiar with Dutch Springs and can be patient. I do have season pass and looking to do some dives before going scuba diving in Iceland. I will be going some time next week on a week day if you can go. Also someone created a group on Facebook just for people to meet at Dutch. Its call Dutch Springs dive buddies, there was a diver that was certified last year and had not dove. Was looking to refresh and was good to help him do exercise, buoyancy and give him a tour around Dutch.. There other groups that dive in Rockaway NY and NJ shore. You can add me here and send PM. Congratulations and after a while you will be can experience to help others.
