So, While I am a SEI DM, I have started the process to become a PADI DM, so I can be employed by the LDS here in town. However the fees for the DM Class was ridiculous! 364.00 for the DM CrewPack,, but I see other other sites the DM Crew Pack for 199.00+tx? Are those unauthorized materials or what?

Online course materials through PADI eLearning are $225.00 so I would say anyone selling for less than that is either selling outdated or used materials?

The physical CrewPak comes with a PADI messenger bag with physical copies of all the books in it so $364.00 is a reasonable price. It has been a few years but I think I actually paid more than that for mine.

Thank You! SEI, Did not cost me nearly as much as this PADI Course is, so I can only imagine what it is going cost to get my OWSI Certification.. I may just got AI, and hoover for a bit LOL. One of the things I do like about PADI is the option for the eCards on the PADI app on my phone.. Not to worry about carrying my c-cards with me

I’m hoping to do my OWSI later this year and it is looking to cost about $3,000 before it is all said and done so yeah, be prepared to write a big check. :)

A lot of agencies are going to ecards. I have all my instructor cards digital through SSI. I just finished the electronic course for the Dive Control Specialist Instructor course I am going through. Can’t say I’m overwhelmed by it, really wasn’t that hard.

I did my PADI DiveMaster class online , and also Dive theory . Both ran about $225each . Dive Theory online test counts as part 2 of the required actual tests. I still have to have my LDS proctor the part 1 test, then go through all the rest of the actual hands on training. If I go forward to instructor, I’ll probably go IDEA. verses being locked into PADI and PADI membership/dues/fee’s .
