Our next “Dive Against Debris” Dive Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 12th, 2014. TBGC is sponsoring this dive cleanup at Ballast Point Park and Pier to support Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup 2014 event. Like all of our dive cleanups, we need volunteer divers, kayaks/canoes, safety observers, and data collectors.

In addition to the dive cleanup of the waters off Ballast Point Park, we will also be conducting a park cleanup during the same time. We are the site captain for the Ballast Point Park cleanup, supporting Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup 2014 event. So we need both dive cleanup volunteers and park cleanup volunteers. This park is a beautiful park with a fishing pier, mangroves, kid’s water park, and playground areas. We want to maximize our positive impact in cleaning up this beautiful location within Tampa Bay and hope that you will participate in this event.

If you have friends or family members that you want to bring with you while you are participating in the dive cleanup, they are more than welcome to participate in our event by volunteering for the park cleanup. If any group wants to volunteer, contact us at volunteer@tampabaygreenconsortium.org.
T-Shirts for this event will be limited so please sign up as soon as possible.
