I’m not, but where are you staying and what operation are you diving with? Check out http://www.searobincozumel.com/. I dove with them last year and they were great!

Thanks for the info Greg... Staying at Park Royal... I’ve never been to Coz so not really sure what to expect. I know the beaches are not like those in Playa or Cancun but I’d rather enjoy the bottom time than the beach time!

That is awesome that you are going! It is my favorite place. Cozumel does have some nice beaches but not so much in the North hotel zone or around the San Miguel town area. Rent a jeep for a day and head south or to the east side of the island. I dive with Del Mar Aquatics when I go. They have some really good people working there. Let me know if I can help any.
Have a great time.

Thanks for the feedback! Never thought to rent a jeep. That’s a great idea and would let us explore different parts of the island that are not on the other tours!!

We are going back the end of September for our second trip. We will be staying next door to the Park Royal at Casa Del Mar. It’s a nice Resort. We used Del Mar Aquatics last trip and will be using Dive House this time.
I hope you have a great trip. Give us an update when you get back.
Renting a Jeep is a must do on your day off. Go to the Lighthouse and Mayan Ruins, they are well worth it.
We are looking into doing a Sea Turtle release this trip. There are so many extra little things to do after diving or on your day/s off if you investigate.

My first trip to Cozumel, and first dives since certification, was over Christmas break for 10 days. I stayed at the Park Royal and it was awesome! Tell Luis the bartender I said "okey dokey". I want to go there in September but don’t know about the $$ by myself. I dove with Aquaworld and still have 2 dives on credit with them to use.
Have a great trip!
