Panama City has the most (and best) dive sites of the panhandle area. The jetties at the state park are the only beach dive. I usually dive with Panama City Dive Center or Diver’s Den when I do boat dives. There are many wreck and rubble sites. Some of my favorites are Black Bart, USS Strength, almost any of the sunken bridge spans, Chippewa and the hovercraft. The springs mentioned previously are nice, just make sure you bring a wetsuit (68 degree water). Destin is a short drive from Panama City.

Destin is a great place for vac... The vis. may not be so great if there has been a lot of rain down south.. If the ocean is bad and sometimes its very bad vis.. Its not like the beutiful reefs like the keys.. But it’s better to eat the fish there you spear..
I can get you on the beach for $600 for the week 7 nites.. 300 ft of private beach... My boat is also in Destin...
Gotta to get to work Later Mike B.
