I’m not a doctor... "But I play one on TV..." and "I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night..." LOL...
No... But seriously, it’s a good question. Have you asked this question of your doctor?
Another place that might be able to answer your medical questions involving diving is Divers Alert Network. You can find them at: http://www.diversalertnetwork.org/
These folks have been very helpful to me in the past.
Good luck

I second the "Contact DAN" answer. I had neck surgery back in April and they were very helpful and informative about my condition and recovery. They also have access to a list of "Dive Doctors" that may be in your area. If you can get the name of a local Dive Doc, you can see and discuss with them face-to-face. Dale

As an instructor, I also advise calling DAN. They are the best source of information on diving and dive health.

I had my gallbladder out in 2007 and haven’t had any problems with diving. But, ask your doctor just to make sure!

Hey, Had my Gallbladder removed in 2004. I personally have had no problems diving. Of course as most have said check with your doctor or DAN. But there should be no problems. It’s all about how you feel.
