Harry Wright is the biggest of the three lakes in the park, all in a chain, the other two were a nudist colony and a scout camp in the 30’s, I guess you know how that plan went wrong.
I’ve seen rescue classes done here, I’ve checked some gear in this lake too because it’s handy but not much to see. It’s a manmade lake so there are still stumps on the bottom, watch where you are going! The deepest spot is under the swim platform to the spillway at Lake Road.
Don’t plan a dive here on the 4th of July weekend, this is where the fireworks are.
Fire choppers have been known to dip their buckets here, don’t be the urban legend in the wetsuit found in the forest fire :)
