approximately 15 nm SW of Frying Pan Tower

This 400’ freighter sank some time in World War II in 130’ of water, making it a dive for the more experienced diver. This wreck was first explored in 1984, and divers have yet to find a clue as to her name.

One listing has this as the SS Ringborg which was a 300+ foot Norwegian freighter containing copper ore. Sunk in 1924 due to a leak. Max depth is 120 feet and off SC

There is a boat mining the copper ore.
