A couple years ago I dove in the shark tank at the aquarium. It was one of the "Adventures" they offered. At the time I dove with 26 sharks(12 sandtiger, 12 sandbar, and 2 sawtooth). They provided everything except your mask. Very neat dive. Currently I do not see this adventure on their website but I spoke with a volunteer diver from the aquarium a couple weekends ago and he said they were still offering it but it just was not popular.
What You Get: Included in the Swim with the Sharks price is your admission to the aquarium and free parking for 1 car per paid participant. You will also receive a souvenir t-shirt, souvenir snorkel and mask, and memories to last a lifetime! (All gear except bathing suits, towels, water shoes and toiletries will be provided.) Admission is not included for any ’viewing guests’ accompanying you on the day of your Adventure. Viewing guests are required to pay general admission to enter Adventure Aquarium.
Availability: Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
Ages: 12 and up (proof of age required)
Estimated length of full experience: 1 hour 45 minutes (including approximately 45 minutes in the water)
Price: $185 per person ($167 for Annual Passholders).
Requirements: Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating parental figure.
