Whiteface (aka The Anchor or Spanish Anchor) - Turks And Caicos Islands

Loading...
The name Whiteface comes from the appearance of the ironstone shoreline cliff that is directly inshore from this site off West Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The name Anchor or Spanish Anchor comes from the old shop anchor that is embedded in the coral within a swim through at the edge of the wall. Watch carefully, as the anchor has been there so long it is completely encrusted with sponges and corals. You can see a video on this dive site at www.ScubaVisions.TV, episode #4 (www.tinyurl.com/osl8zy).
