Palancar is a massive formation of coral reefs that during thousands of years has shaped in to lots of tunnels and crevasses, hanging from a wall that reaches beyond 1000 ft deep.
It’s spectacular entrances from the shallow to the wall are famous and when you are swimming into them you will know why.
This dive has almost always current, which can variate from 2, 3 knots average to some times 5. Usually is a very relaxed comfortable dive with lots of color and visibility usually exceeds 100 ft, water temperature is always in the mid 80º.
