41.23N 16.16E Known as the HMS Regent, in reality a small Italian submarine used in the last part of WWII as tanker and minefield signal was sunk after hitting a mine on 4/18/1943 during the Second World War. It lies at a depth of 30-35 metres making it accessible to any diver that has completed a deep diving course. Many who have dived this wreck have been amazed by the dive and alongside the HMS Quail it is thought to be one of the best wreck dives in the country. Due to the submarine being in active service when it was sunk, divers are asked to leave everything “as it is” as the wreck was and still is a war grave.
