Two barges are situated parallel to each other just out of sight of each other so the journey from barge #1 to barge #2
They had been used as temporary housing for soldiers during the war but after the war they were not needed and used by soldiers as target practice.
From Visitusvi.com The twin barges originally housed men’s quarters during WWII. After the war, they were demolished and sunk, creating the ideal habitat for marine life. Trumpetfish, big angelfish, feather dusters and Christmas tree worms hang topside, while squirrelfish, bigeyes and channel clinging crabs hide out in the crawl spaces
