Hello - I’m looking for dive buddies (male only please - happily married with kids) to share trips to Catalina and other local spots. I’m looking for guys that are safety-oriented, experienced night divers and comfortable with diving solo/buddy diving. Very few of my friends are divers, which is why I’m reaching out to others here on Divebuddy.com!

I own a 45’ boat, so getting out on short notice is not a problem. I also enjoy rod and reel fishing, as well as occasional spearfishing (free diving and SCUBA), so sometimes I do lobster/fishing combos. Most trips to the island are overnight, but also enjoy quick coastal trips when visibility permits.

I’ve been diving since 1987, mostly throughout the Channel Islands. During my college days, I worked for Truth Aquatics in Santa Barbara, CA - great fleet of live-aboard vessels! (Conception RIP) I’m certified PADI advanced, though I’ve been through the Search & Recovery and Night Diver courses in the 90’s. Also ANDI Nitrox certified.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon-

Bentley

Looking for male dive buddies with significant night diving experience to join me and other friends for lobster trips to Catalina and occasional outer islands excursions. I have a well-maintained 43’ sport fisher in Newport Beach, CA and would like to share modest fuel expenses and some great bug diving (and fishing) experiences. I’ve been happily married for nearly 20 years and not looking for any other "hook-ups".

Cheers-
