Hi.
I’m looking for a dive buddy for occasional dives within driving distance of my hometown, Bloomsburg, PA. In my primary job, I work as a police officer, so my schedule isn’t what you could call traditional. My days off rotate on a 4-week schedule, so weekends don’t always mean free time. I prefer local trips, so that I can go home to my wife & kids at the end of a day of diving, although once in a blue moon I may be up for an overnighter somewhere — even better if the whole family can go and have something to do while we’re underwater.
I’ve got about 35 dives in so far — most of them in the Caribbean, between a trip to Aruba in 2011 and living in St. John, USVI, in 2012-2013. The few others were primarily training dives in freshwater quarries (brrrrr!) here in PA before I went to St. John. ::UPDATE:: Managed to squeeze in a few dives at the Pitons while in St. Lucia in May 2017 — great dives!!!
I’m certified on Open Water, Deep Diving, and Nitrox (SSI). Currently working toward Master Diver certification by finishing up the Stress & Rescue course and getting in enough logged dives.
