hello Dan,

I use an Olympus point and shoot in an Ikelite case with an external flash (Ikelite makes cases for a lot of different cameras, so you may be able to simply find one that will a camera you may already own) ... I also just got a GoPro Hero3 Black edition and used it in the Cayman Islands last month and loved the video I was able to get on it, I had simply mounted it under my Olympus that I use for still shots, and at the start of the dive would start the gopro and it taped everything I pointed my camera at... ...I hope to be able to start my boating season soon, and should with any luck be unwrapping my boat by the end of the month , and it normally takes a couple of weeks to get her back in the water : ) ...I’ll keep you posted on her progress, and would love to meet for coffee sometime : )

Hi Ralph - My son and I are both open water PADI certified - just need our night dive for advanced certification. We live up in Preston, and were cerified at Seaview Scuba in Montville. Not into spear fishing because we dont eat fish!! We have all our own gear, but I dont have a camera set up yet....that’s next on the list! Any recommendations?

When are you looking to get in the water this year? Let me know, perhaps we could meet over a coffee at some point? Look forward to hearing from you.
