Indonesia - am sooo jealous that you get to live there - just a short trip to the most pristine reefs on the planet.

In July, we are going to Lembeh Strait (Manado, Sulawesi) for several days of muck diving before we fly to Sorong, Papua to get on the liveaboard, the Raja Ampat Explorer. We are going to help save the leatherback turtles and dive dive dive!!!!

Great choice, and strangely coinicident in that I’m making MY first trip to Manado (Bunaken) the weekend of May 25-28 with a group from my office in Jakarta. We’re diving with Two Fish divers, which comes highly recommended by folks I work with here. Check out their web site; small operator, small boats, nice accomodations. I’ll report back to you on how I find it. If you give me your dates for Lembeh, perhaps I can join you.

Thanks for your reply John !! We will be diving the Raja Ampats which is about a 3 hr flight from Manado to Sorong, Papua where we get on the liveaboard from July9-18th. Members of our group are arriving in Manado on different days, some on July 2nd, 4th, and 6th.
