Hi there, I have been diving for 20 years and have progressed into commercial diving and worked up to saturation diving and supervisor of diving operations offshore. I am involved in a SAR team at home when not away working. Love diving and all the marine environment has to offer. I find it very peaceful. Hope to find some buddies that would be interested in diving from anywhere home and abroad.

Wow, Cork, huh? I spent a marvelous two weeks in Bantry Bay on Bere Island. Stayed near Rerrin village, about 15 years ago. Haven’t been able to get back since, but I fell utterly in love with Ireland. My great-grandparents immigrated from County Cork (donno where exactly). It would be truly an awesome experience to someday be able to go back and dive there.

Very cool, I am Irish too, my relatives are from County Slaigo, hope I spelled that correctly. Last name was McGoldrick until they dropped the Mc. Do you ever dive in California? Is there diving in Ireland?

Yea there is pretty good diving in Ireland all along the south coast and up the west coast. I have never dived in the states yet but have dived on most other continents. I hear california can be cool water so you would have no problem diving in Ireland I think.

Thanks, well it will be my first time diving here, so I will have to see how it goes! Yeah I heard the water there is very cold but great surfing in Ireland!

Paudie is OShea your last name? That the old spelling of my last name from whati’ve been told by my dad was my great grandfather change the spelling to shay went he came over to america back in the day.
