Phillip from Uvalde TX | Scuba Diver

Hello, my name is Phillip and I am a PADI certified diver. I have experience in drift, night, low-viz, cold water, and others with over 100 logged dives. Most of my dives have been conducted locally in rivers and lakes here in Texas, but I have dived in Cozumel and Bonne Terre Mines. One of the most interesting dives was at Bonn Terre with my son. I certainly recommend going if you haven’t been there yet.

My passion is scuba diving which has led me to open Scuba Oasis, a local dive shop. We are still in the planning phases, but will have the doors open by June 1st, 2016. We will be a full service dive store offering training, equipment sales and service, and travel opportunities. Please take a moment to visit our website at

I’m really looking forward to getting in as much diving as possible this year and will need more dive buddies to help make this possible. My schedule is a little funky, but best chances for diving would be at Lake Amistad during the week. However, I’m not opposed to planning out a day trip somewhere, either. Message me if you’re interested in an outing and we’ll see what we can put together.

Stay safe, stay wet.

Sorry we missed each other. I heard you came to Chalk Bluff looking for me.

They changed our cabin, some mix up of theirs. We wound up in Jane near the play ground. And I forgot our mobil phones didn’t work there.

Maybe we can hook up soon. I don’t think I found a place where the water was more than 6 feet deep, but it was clear enough that I got some good under water photos and movies.

My wife’s car is having some brake issues, so I’m going to have to take it in tomorrow to get her up and running again.
