Well, someone has some bucks! With what the boom furler costs, I could buy a decent boat and begin my retirement.

I was working as the Chef/Mate on this yacht, "Sorcerer II", (95’ Cookson sloop, built in New Zealand), and it is still owned by the renowned geneticist Dr. J. Craig Venter (he mapped the human genome). This was December 2001, right after 9/11 (he did much of the DNA work for the victims), and we were heading from Annapolis down to St. Barths/Barts. He ultimately took the boat around the world to collect data from different marine ecosystems and discovered many new forms of "life". Great boat, awesome guy! (http://www.sorcerer2expedition.org)

Yea, and it goes "beeeep, beeeep, beeep" as you’re backing up. :)
