Response to on-line shopping survey

Someone asked about online shopping. Here are the biggest problems with online shopping. Each problem does not apply to all online shopping sites. Some may apply to one or another... some may apply to all of them.

1. Some charge more for shipping to make up for the lowball price they lure you with.

2.Some bait and switch. Advertise an item they don’t have then call you and try to substitute something else.

3. Some are not authorized by the manufacturer to sell the item... therefore no warranty and higher annual service costs

4. Some sell models 2, 3, 4 or more years old. As a test, I recently ordered some items from Leisurepro. The manufacture dates on the items indicated 2002 production.

5. Some sell DEMO’s and refurbs as new and do not state that clearly or at all

6. Some buyers who have a problem get no customer service at all. Often no response at all.

So in the end... buyer beware. If you want to go cheap you will likely get cheap.

With all that said... I am an Internet Seller. More importantly however I am always available by phone to take your order and get you the best possible price from an authorized dealer. When you buy from us you get the full manufacturers warranty everytime. Call us at 443-772-0595 Monday - Friday 12pm - 7pm EST to see what we can do for you. This ain’t your daddy’s dive shop!
