I plan on being in Miami Florida in either mid to late October or early November. Can anyone tell me how the weather is that time of the year for diving? Also, I will be renting and looking to go on a dive charter. Does anyone have some good recommendations?

Weather is usually great that time of year. There are dive charters spread out in the area depends where you are staying and what kind of diving you are interested in. Dive Stop is in North Miami (305)940-0926, they allow spearfishing. If you want to check out a really awesome reef I recommend taking the 2.5 hour trip down to Looe Key and taking the charter from Looe Key dive center it is worth it.

Thanks for the info. I will probably be in the South Beach area if you know of any good dive charters that would be helpful.

You gonna love diving in Miami. Water is around 80 degrees in November. I live in Miami but very often go to Ft. Lauderdale/Pompono area as the ship wrecks there are amazing. Let me know if you need help in finding a charter. You also should take advantage of the beach diving here.
